oodoe, a global leader in EV charging technology, has partnered with automaker Audi to establish EV charging networks throughout Taiwan using advanced Noodoe EV OS network platform. The announcement was made by Noodoe CEO, Jennifer Chang. Noodoe is confident its model for ubiquitous EV charging options developed for Audi e-tron will quickly become the defacto standard for EV charging network development worldwide.
“Charging an electric vehicle should be as easy and accessible as charging your smartphone,” says Chang. “Audi and Noodoe EV are working together to create a comprehensive network charging program, from home charging to public charging and dealership network charging. We hope to apply the same program in the US to transform all our cities into EV friendly communities.”
The objective of Noodoe EV and Audi’s partnership is to foster a ubiquitous, comprehensive offering of EV charging solutions for Audi e-tron owners. At its heart is Audi’s Charging Network powered by Noodoe EV OS, a system easy on the consumer, while offering total automated functionality for the owner. Noodoe EV OS is one of the most advanced cloud-based operating platforms today. It is the central “brain” that runs all the charging stations in the entire charging infrastructure.
What makes Noodoe EV OS different is the core technology that empowers “extreme automation”, enabling operators to achieve the lowest possible operating cost. Controlling and running all EV charging stations, Noodoe EV OS fully automates everything – 24/7 charging service delivery, automatic peak-hour price adjustment, automatic transaction billing, automatic payment processing, automatic bank transfer, automatic infrastructure diagnostics, and intelligent energy management. It’s so automated that the network operators can practically generate revenue automatically and continuously.
“The idea for this program is to reward Audi EV customers by making it easy for them to charge wherever it’s most convenient,” says Chang. “When they get home, they can charge immediately. Out on the town, our Noodoe app finds EV drivers the closest public charging station. Dealership groups can also be networked via Noodoe EV OS to become one holistic charging group for their customers. Many large dealership groups can offer EV charging service as a customer loyalty award. The idea is for EV owners to plug in and recharge when needed.”
