  • Fleet/Reserved Parking: Eligible for $1,000 per port

Understanding the Program

Charge Ready NY 2.0 provides rebates to support the installation of Level 2 EV charging stations at public, workplace, and multifamily properties in New York. The program helps offset equipment and installation costs.

Eligible expenses under this program include:

  • Charging equipment and installation
  • Electrical infrastructure upgrades
  • Site preparation and signage
  • Network service agreements (required for 5 years)

Eligibility

To qualify for Charge Ready NY 2.0, applicants must:

  • Be a public, private, or non-profit entity in New York
  • Install new Level 2 chargers from NYSERDA’s approved equipment list
  • Ensure public facilities are located within a disadvantaged community (DAC)
  • Maintain charging station operation for at least 5 years
  • Submit usage data to NYSERDA throughout the reporting period
  • Workplace sites must have at least 20 parking spaces and 20+ employees
  • Multifamily properties must have 10+ housing units and 20+ parking spaces
  • Charging stations cannot be assigned to individual drivers unless for fleet use
  • Projects must meet networking and accessibility requirements
