J.D. Power has released its 2023 U.S. Electric Vehicle Experience (EVX) Home Charging Study, and the results are pretty interesting. First, satisfaction rates improve by 179 points when moving from a Level 1 portable charger to a Level 2 permanently mounted charger. Unfortunately, many Level 2 users cited rising electricity rates as the cause of decreased satisfaction compared to the previous year. But the ability to schedule charge time also increased satisfaction. Only 35% of owners say they always schedule a time to charge their vehicle at home, while 49% do not use any scheduling software. Scheduling can take advantage of lower-cost time rates and ensure users' target battery level. Read the complete study if you're interested in the whole point system and suggestions for participants in the EV ecosystem, or reach out to Noodoe for our solutions to these home charging woes.

Installing smart software, such as Noodoe EV OS, can simplify the management for site owners and offer perks for employees or tenants. It's a win-win scenario.
